STX Fingerprints proudly utilizes Fulcrum Biometrics Live Scan Fingerprinting Equipment & Software. Established in 2002, and headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, Fulcrum Biometrics is a diverse company dedicated to increasing trust between humans and the digital systems with which they interact.
Our Live Scan system can also be used to create digital fingerprint records, which are then printed onto FD-258 Civilian fingerprint cards. This capability is ideal for anyone needing to send fingerprint cards out of state for licensing, permitting, or national background check purposes in any state that accepts these cards. Completely inkless, the system ensures high-quality images, automatically checks for image clarity, and performs finger sequencing to minimize the risk of rejections.
Our Live Scan System allows us to create digital fingerprint records for legal residents of the United States requiring a national background check. These records can be submitted electronically to the FBI through our FBI Channeler. This service is especially useful for individuals immigrating to the U.S., applying for public housing, or pursuing opportunities to travel, work, or study abroad.
